I currently live in west Pembroke Pines and found myself (along with my family and friends) a regular at Shinju, a relatively new and upcoming chain of sushi (and more) buffets in South Florida. Being relatively larger than its sister restaurant in Davie, this place easily accommodates for large parties and special occasions (as made evident by the rather loud and cheesy ‘Happy Birthday’ tune played for literally every person celebrating his or her birthday).
Let me start off by saying that I LOVE SUSHI and for $11.95 during lunch time and $17.95 per person ($2 extra on weekends), this buffet is a steal! Not only do they have a large selection of sushi, but an array of cooked foods (for all you non-raw fish eaters out there), and a hibachi grill for your stir-fried cravings all-day long. And in case you were wondering, the major difference between lunch and dinner is the addition of crab legs, sashimi, as well as added menu items to the cooked portion of the restaurant. As for dessert, they offer fruits, cakes, and ice cream and on most nights, they even bring out the chocolate fondue fountain to dip anything your heart desires.
It probably wouldn’t be in your best interest to hold your next conference meeting at this restaurant, but for a picky group of eaters that are yearning for some Asian food, this casual place should cover those needs.
