(a) Taro Bubble Tea Slush / Shing Wang
This is a perfect refreshing drink for the upcoming summer weather. Not too sweet, the taro flavored slush is my favorite. Shing Wang offers other exotic flavors for bubble tea lovers – like lychee and mango. Or if you are not too daring, strawberry or watermelon flavors are offered as well. Their tapioca pearls are prepared perfectly, soft and chewy.
(b) Cannoli / Laurenzo’s Italian Center
This little tube of creamy goodness from Laurenzo’s is by far my favorite Italian pastry. Dipped with chocolate chips, this is the perfect dessert to follow a pasta dinner.
(c) Supermoon Perro / La Moon
This hot dog is to die for. Smoked sausage, bacon, and a quail egg with 5 different sauces is an explosion of flavor waiting to excite your taste buds. Pineapple sauce on a hot dog may sound weird, but it tastes amazing.
(d) Pan con Lechon / Papo Llega y Pon @ Marlins Park
When you think baseball and food, you think hotdogs and cracker jacks. Not in Miami. Yes, the new Marlins Park offers the traditional ballpark food, but they bring the Latin out by serving pan con lechon from Papo LLega y Pon. The pan con lechon is pulled pork shoulder with mojo marinade and onions served on a white bun. The pork is juicy and tender, and the citrus flavor is distinct from the mojo marinade.
