What better way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon brunch than with house music and the ocean breeze…
The white couches and beds on the beach give Nikki Beach a relaxed yet elegant feel. I missed Sunday brunch by half an hour, but still came across some amazing appetizers to nibble on. I chose the Escargots Nikki ($15) and the Rocket & Rocchetta Pizza ($16). To start, the escargot came out drenched in the most amazing white wine garlic sauce topped with gruyere. It made my mouth water. The juices of white wine & garlic oozed out with every bite making it one of the most succulent escargots I have ever had. Then came the pizza, not your typical mom & pop pizza, it was more on the fancy side. It was topped with olive oil, arugula, rocchetta cheese, and the best part prosciutto! It was the perfect snack while lounging in the beautiful sands of Miami.
Of course I can’t go to South Beach and not have a drink! My drink of choice was the Nikki Beach Mossini ($14). It was delicious and refreshing and I definitely recommend this if you want to try something other than the original Cuban mojito!
